Are you still buying stuff from local electronic store? IN GENERAL, if your state charges a sales tax, then most likely you are paying more money for the same thing. Local store have deals on the items they advertise. For other items, you should be able to get better prices online.

Wii, however, may just be an exception. Online stores tend to reflect more of the "supply vs demand" pricing. Since Wii's are in great demand, they can actually be more expensive in online stores. But you also don't need to spend time checking the local stores and be disappointed that they don't have any available.

Last time I check on Amazon.com , new Wiis were running about $350 with games and about $310 with no games (sometimes categorized as used but sellers claim that they are new, just that the boxes were opened.)
